Description

So I was just derping around with photoshop and the background happened...nothing special, but it was better than the yarn bin that was overflowing behind the table Hahaha ^_^;

ANYWAY, this here is a Master Ball made by way of crochet. It came out bigger than expected, about the size of a grape fruit , but I think it was for the best. It makes me feel like a 10 year old pokemon trainer, you know, like in the beginning part of the series where the pokeballs look HUUUGE in their hands. Yup. Good times.

If you'd like one of your own, send me a note. We can work out details. If you'd like a different pokeball, send me a note and we can work out details! Pokeballs are $12.00 including shipping.

NOTE: These are EXCELLENT for chucking at pedestrians.

The standard pokeball can be found here [link]

I've seen many many crocheted Master Balls, but none of them seemed as smooth and "real" as this one did! What I like best about this master ball is that the pink circles are just the right shape that "melt" into the ball, rather than sticking out like underdeveloped Mickey Mouse ears. I also especially liked noticing that the black band around the middle seems to be separately crocheted! That's really thoughtful and definitely adds an extra dimension to the Master Ball. The slip stitch M looks really good; I haven't seen many instances of slip-stitch-embroidery, but I have to say, it looks possibly even better than normal embroidery (I'll be trying harder to slip stitch embroider in my future works... heheh), it looks neater and less likely to come apart.

All in all, this was definitely one of my favorite creations to stumble across. I've never written a critique before, but I felt that this one was just so fantastic I had to leave my thoughts! Really good job!
